The ‘Magnet & Dewdrop’ situated on the corner of Westferry Road and Mast House Terrace, looking east. It was renamed ‘The Telegraph’ in 1985 but closed 10 years later. Following demolition in 2001, a block of flats was built on the site. The name is said to have its origins in the local iron and engineering trades, like the nearby but long-defunct ‘Ironmongers Arms'
