The cyclist is Hilder Murphy (nee Haytor) who lived at No.1 Plimsoll Street in East India Dock Road. She is on her way to visit her daughter and son in law, Pat and Dave Stackable, at No. 6 Exmouth House, Cahir Street, E14, on a Sunday morning. She made this trip every Sunday morning in the 1980s until she was too frail to cycle. On the back of her bike was a canvas bag in which she brought the sweets for her grandchildren
