Holland’s haberdashery & drapery Store. Alice French and her brother Chris Holland are standiing in the doorway. They had taken over the shop from their mother, Mrs Liz Holland. She had started a business from her own home, selling silk stockings, before the Second World War, and moved into the shop in the 1960s when it was new. Chris had previously worked in the docks.
