Most of these photographs were taken at a meeting of the Association of Island Communities (AIC) in The Lansbury Room, George Green Centre, on 8th May 1984. The AIC met once a month, usually on the first Monday, and was very active in campaigning for better conditions for Islanders faced with the impending massive redevelopment programme
